Role & responsibilities :

Clinical Execution: Perform high-quality 2D Echocardiography, Doppler studies, and assist with advanced procedures (e.g., Stress Echo, TEE) as required.

Reporting: Analyze scan results and prepare accurate, detailed preliminary analytical reports for review by the attending Cardiologist.

Workflow Management: Oversee daily cardiac imaging workflows, ensure optimal patient scheduling, and maintain strict quality control standards.

Mentorship: Train, guide, and mentor junior technical staff and interns on scanning techniques, equipment handling, and patient care protocols.

Equipment Maintenance: Ensure proper calibration, sanitization, and maintenance of ultrasound and echocardiography equipment; promptly report any technical malfunctions

Patient Care: Explain procedures to patients clearly to alleviate anxiety, ensure their comfort, and maintain strict confidentiality.

Preferred candidate profile:

Education:



Bachelors Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Diploma in Echocardiography, or a related allied health science field.

Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience as an Echo Technician, with a proven track record in a high-volume hospital or diagnostic center. Senior-level or supervisory experience is highly preferred.

Technical Skills: Proficient in operating advanced 2D/3D Echo and Doppler machinery, with a robust grasp of cardiac anatomy, pathology, and complex congenital or structural heart conditions.

Soft Skills: Excellent analytical skills, solid leadership and mentoring capabilities, and compassionate communication skills for patient interaction.

Certification: Registration with relevant medical/technological boards or councils is a solid plus.
