Position: Full time Economics Teacher

Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Economics Teacher to teach Grades 11 and 12. The candidate must have a robust command over Economics, both Micro and Macro, and the ability to engage senior students in conceptual, analytical, and application-based learning.

Key Responsibilities

Teach Economics curriculum for Grades 11 and 12, ensuring alignment with board guidelines (CBSE/IB/CAIE, depending on school curriculum).

Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans, integrating real-world examples and case studies.

Use innovative teaching methodologies and digital tools to enhance classroom learning.

Guide students in preparing for board exams, competitive exams, and higher education.

Assess student progress through assignments, projects, tests, and provide constructive feedback.

Maintain up-to-date subject knowledge and stay informed of global economic trends.

Mentor students for academic and career guidance in economics-related fields.





Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-disciplinary projects and initiatives.

Contribute to school events, workshops, and parent-teacher interactions.

Requirements

Educational Qualification: Masters Degree in Economics (Ph.D. preferred but not mandatory).

Experience: Minimum 5 years of teaching Economics at the senior secondary (Grade 11 & 12) level.

Strong subject expertise in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Indian Economy, and Global Economic Issues.

Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to inspire and motivate students to excel academically.

Familiarity with modern teaching pedagogies and educational technology.
