An SAP GTS OTC Senior Consultant for S/4HANA Upgrade is a specialized role focusing on global trade services (GTS) and order-to-cash (OTC) processes during S/4HANA transformation projects. Key Responsibilities
S/4HANA Upgrade & Implementation
Lead SAP GTS (Global Trade Services) upgrade projects to S/4HANA.
Configure and support OTC processes including sales orders, deliveries, billing, and trade compliance.
Ensure smooth migration of GTS Edition 2 functionalities into S/4HANA.
Global Trade & Compliance
Implement compliance management (Sanctioned Party List, embargo checks, legal control).
Configure license management and determination procedures.
Support customs management, risk management, and integration with external customs authorities.
Integration & Workflow
Integrate GTS with S/4HANA Sales & Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), and Finance (FI).
Configure compliance-based blocks and follow-up actions in Global Trade Services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align trade processes with business goals.
Leadership & Client Engagement
Conduct client workshops to gather requirements and propose improvements.




Mentor junior consultants and ensure adherence to SAP Activate methodology.
Act as a trusted advisor for trade compliance and OTC transformation.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Expertise
Strong knowledge of SAP GTS Edition 2 and S/4HANA OTC processes.
Hands-on experience in compliance management, license management, and customs integration.
Familiarity with decentralized GTS deployment and integration with S/4HANA sales orders, deliveries, and billing.
Skilled Experience
5+ years of SAP GTS consulting experience, with at least 2–3 S/4HANA upgrade projects.
Proven track record in global trade compliance and OTC implementations.
Soft Skills
Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage client expectations.
