Role Overview

The Food Quality Manager at Vlogs Food Private Limited is responsible for ensuring consistent product quality, food safety, and hygiene standards across all outlets and cloud kitchens. This role is critical in maintaining the brand promise of Eat .Guilt Free by enforcing high standards in ingredients, preparation, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
Quality Standardisation Across Outlets
Define and implement standard recipes (SOPs) for all menu items (crepes, desserts, beverages, etc.)
Ensure uniform taste, texture, and presentation across all Yummy Bee locations
Conduct regular outlet audits and surprise quality checks
Food Safety & Compliance
Ensure adherence to FSSAI regulations and hygiene standards
Implement and monitor HACCP protocols
Maintain documentation for licenses, audits, and compliance checks
Ensure proper temperature control, storage, and handling practices
Ingredient & Vendor Quality Control
Approve and audit vendors for raw materials
Ensure quality of health-focused ingredients (low sugar, alternative flours, etc.)




Monitor FIFO practices and shelf-life management
Conduct periodic lab testing if required
Training & Team Alignment
Train kitchen teams on:
Food safety & hygiene
Recipe adherence
Portion control
Conduct monthly refresher training
Ensure all staff follow grooming and hygiene standards
Customer Experience & Complaint Resolution
Monitor and analyse customer feedback on aggregator platforms
Investigate quality-related complaints and take corrective actions
Work with operations to reduce repeat issues
Recent Product Development (Support Role)
Work with the NPD team to:
Ensure current products meet quality and shelf-life standards
Standardise recipes before launch
Conduct trial runs and quality validation
Reporting & KPIs
Track and report:
Outlet quality scores
Customer complaints related to food
Food wastage levels
Audit compliance scores
Share weekly/monthly reports with management
