Roles and Responsibilities:
Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and support IBM Connect:Direct on Windows and UNIX settings.
Manage NETMAP, including local and remote node setup, and maintain node connectivity for partner transfers.
Configure and maintain user proxy definitions and administer functional authorities for user and group access controls.
Configure and support Connect:Direct Secure Plus, including encryption, certificates, and secure sessions.
Troubleshoot file transfer failures, connectivity issues, and process failures; support production incident/change/problem management using ITIL and ServiceNow.

Skills Required:
13 - 18 years of experience in infrastructure engineering and production support for managed file transfer platforms.
IBM Connect:Direct administration on Windows and UNIX.
Connect:Direct Secure Plus administration (encryption, certificates, secure sessions).




NETMAP configuration, node management, proxy definitions, and functional authorities/access control.
Connect:Direct Web Services / APIs for automation and integration; Sterling B2B Integrator support including Connect:Direct Server Adapter (CDSA) and CD node setup.

Valuable to Have:
Monitoring tools such as Sterling Control Center Monitor and Director administration for Connect:Direct (Netmap, user authorization, configuration management).
Mainframe (z/OS) and AS400 / IBM i exposure.
Netmap/Xref setup experience and broader Sterling B2B Integrator setting support.
AWS exposure, automation, and scripting tools for operational support.

Education: Relevant degree (or equivalent experience) in Engineering/IT.
