Hostel Warden Roles & Responsibilities (Point-wise)
Supervise the overall administration of the hostel.
Ensure the safety and security of all hostel residents.
Maintain discipline and enforce hostel rules and regulations.
Allocate rooms and manage hostel admissions and vacancies.
Maintain student attendance and occupancy records.
Keep records of student movement, leave, and visitors.
Conduct regular inspections of rooms and hostel premises.
Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and proper sanitation in the hostel.
Monitor housekeeping and maintenance activities.
Coordinate repair and maintenance of hostel facilities.
Ensure uninterrupted water, electricity, and other essential services.




Supervise the quality and hygiene of food served in the hostel mess.
Address complaints related to hostel facilities and food services.
Counsel students on personal, academic, and behavioral issues.
Resolve disputes and maintain a peaceful hostel setting.
Handle emergencies such as medical issues, accidents, and fire incidents.
Coordinate with security personnel to ensure campus safety.
Inform parents and management about reliable disciplinary or medical issues.
Maintain hostel inventory, furniture, and other assets.
Prevent damage or misuse of hostel property.
