Overview of the role

The Creative Designer is responsible for creating or adapting a layout as per the job requirement.

His / her responsibility will not just be to execute work as instructed, but also to add value to the

assigned job by contributing creatively as and when required and liaise with Art Director to get

creative directions.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Art Director/Senior Designer to produce high quality, finished designs

• Adhere to the brief guidelines and committed timelines

• Adhere to studio workflow processes and best practice in all day-to-day activities

• Be self-managed, with the ability to work with minimal supervision

• Proactively offer process improvement recommendations

• Develop positive knowledge of the clients brands. Proactively challenge off-brand

communications internally and externally where appropriate





• Suggest proactive work for clients

Skills Required

• Hands-on working experience in graphic design

• Sound, working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign & Photoshop)

• Ability to work with templates, style guides and having a good understanding of how a

brand works across various collaterals

• Ability to work on tight deadlines and under pressure

• Keen eye for detail and a valuable sense of typography, colour and balance

• Basic understanding of marketing and advertising concepts

• PowerPoint Presentation & Print knowledge would be an advantage

• Clarity of thought, positive communication and interpersonal skills

• Team player

• 2+ years experience in graphic/creative design agencies
