Role & responsibilities

Collaborate with product managers, designers and backend developers to define and implement product direction, visuals and user experience.

Develop new user-facing features using React, Node.js and related up-to-date front-end frameworks and tools.

Build reusable code, components and libraries to improve consistency, scalability and maintainability.

Translate requirements, wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs into responsive and accessible user interfaces.

Optimise applications for speed, scalability, responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.

Validate user input before submission to backend services and follow secure coding, DevSecOps and quality standards.

Integrate front-end applications with backend services, RESTful APIs and enterprise application platforms.

Support AI capability integration into web applications where required, working with product, AI and backend teams.

Provide application support, troubleshoot UI defects,



resolve production issues and contribute to stable operations.

Preferred candidate profile

Robust proficiency in React, Node.js, modern JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML5, CSS frameworks and reusable component design patterns.

Solid understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive design, interaction design, wireframing, prototyping and user-centred design practices.

Experience integrating front-end applications with backend technologies, RESTful APIs and enterprise services.

Experience with Git, code reviews, team-oriented development workflows, Agile delivery, sprint execution and issue resolution.

Working knowledge of performance optimisation, cross-browser compatibility, accessibility standards, secure coding, DevSecOps tools and production readiness.

Desirable exposure to AI-enabled web capabilities, containerisation concepts and broader enterprise technologies such as Java EE, RDBMS, PL/SQL, NoSQL, testing automation or RPA tools.
