Role & responsibilities
Design, develop, deploy, and maintain SSIS packages for ETL data movement, transformation, and integration across multiple systems.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable ETL workflows, database objects, and reporting solutions.
Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, triggers, and other database components.
Support database design activities, including table structures, relationships, indexing strategies, data models, and performance optimization.
Create, maintain, and enhance reports, dashboards, and data extracts based on business and operational requirements.
Monitor production jobs, troubleshoot failures, resolve data issues, and ensure timely completion of scheduled ETL processes.
Provide production support for existing applications,



including incident analysis, root cause identification, defect fixes, and service restoration.
Implement enhancements and change requests for existing applications while ensuring minimal business disruption.
Perform unit testing, integration testing, deployment support, and post-production validation for ETL and reporting changes.
Maintain technical documentation for ETL processes, data flows, database changes, support procedures, and application enhancements.
Collaborate with business users, analysts, QA teams, infrastructure teams, and other developers to deliver reliable data and reporting solutions.
Follow coding standards, release management practices, data quality controls, and production support procedures.
