TCS is searching for experienced candidates for the position of Datastage Developer. We are interested in Immediate / July joiner candidates for urgent roles.
Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using IBM DataStage.
Experience in ETL Development, Testing, and Migration by using Data Stage also experience in Database & Data Warehousing Concepts.
Valuable exposure to different phases of project life cycle with significant contribution in low level design, development, review, testing and implementation of ETL projects.
Designed parallel jobs using various stages like Copy, Join, Merge, Lookup, Funnel, Filter, Sort, Remove Duplicates, Sequential file, Data set, Lookup file set, Aggregator, Change Capture and Transformer.
Created jobs in DataStage to import data from heterogeneous data sources like Oracle 9i, Text files and SQL Server.
Positive experience on UNIX and SQL.




Collaborate with data analysts and data architects to understand business requirements
Optimize and troubleshoot existing ETL processes for performance improvements
Ensure data quality and data integrity across multiple sources
Create and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes
Involved in designing the mapping with multiple files loading using file repository and positive knowledge about data ware housing concepts.
Participate in code reviews and ensure ETL best practices are followed
Worked in Agile project and on JIRA to keep track of defect logs and change request.
Demonstrated aptitude for troubleshooting technical issues
Understand the varying demands across stakeholders, appreciation of operations support as a critical component of business delivery
