About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Test Automation Engineer with a robust foundation in manual testing and hands-on experience in automation testing using Playwright. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about ensuring high-quality product delivery through robust testing practices.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript).
Perform manual testing to validate current features, bug fixes, and regression areas.
Exposure to performance testing using tools such as JMeter, k6, or LoadRunner.
Experience in API testing and validation using tools like Postman, or similar.
Collaborate with developers, QA team members, and product owners to understand requirements and define test coverage.
Participate in test planning, estimation, and test case design.
Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests across multiple browsers and platforms.




Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar).
Log, track, and verify defects using tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar.
Continuously improve test automation frameworks and QA processes.

Technical Skill set:
Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (mandatory).
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript for writing automated tests.
Positive understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
Familiarity with API testing (using Postman or similar tools).
Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Qualification:
2+ years of overall QA experience, with a mix of manual and automation testing.
