We are looking for an experienced Snowflake Platform Administrator/Engineer to join our Data Platform team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Snowflake Platform Administration, infrastructure automation, security, and performance optimization in enterprise production environments.

Key Responsibilities
Administer and manage Snowflake production environments.
Design and implement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and security best practices.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Snowflake platform performance.
Implement cost governance strategies, including warehouse optimization and resource monitoring.
Automate Snowflake infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
Configure observability and monitoring for Snowflake settings.
Support platform upgrades, maintenance, and security compliance.
Collaborate with Data Engineering, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams to ensure platform reliability.
Optimize warehouse utilization, storage, and query performance.
Evaluate and implement Snowflake Cortex capabilities where applicable.





Mandatory Skills
5- 8 years of IT experience with robust Snowflake Platform Administration experience.
Hands-on experience administering Snowflake production environments.
Strong expertise in:

Performance Optimization
Cost Governance
Infrastructure Automation
Platform Optimization
Experience with Snowflake monitoring and observability.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Valuable understanding of enterprise data platform best practices.

Good to Have
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
CI/CD implementation using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
Knowledge of Snowflake Cortex capabilities.
Experience with automation frameworks and scripting.
Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.

Preferred Skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work in enterprise production support environments.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
Experience working in Agile teams.
