Job Summary

The Roadside Safety Technician will be responsible for attending vehicle breakdowns, ensuring rider safety, performing basic diagnostics and repairs, coordinating vehicle recovery when required, and maintaining high fleet uptime.

This role requires quick decision-making, technical knowledge of electric two-wheelers, and excellent field coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities
Attend roadside breakdowns and emergency service requests.
Ensure the safety of riders and vehicles during roadside incidents.
Perform basic inspection, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on electric two-wheelers.
Diagnose issues related to battery, motor, controller, wiring, brakes, tyres, lights, and other vehicle components.
Replace minor spare parts whenever required.
Coordinate towing or vehicle recovery for major repairs.
Assist riders with battery swap or charging-related issues.
Record service details, repairs performed, and incident reports through mobile applications or service systems.
Coordinate with Fleet Operations and Service Centers to ensure quick issue resolution.
Conduct basic safety inspections before releasing vehicles back into service.




Maintain service tools, equipment, and roadside safety kits.
Follow all company safety procedures and standard operating guidelines.
Maintain high response time and service quality standards.

Required Skills
Basic understanding of Electric Vehicle (EV) systems.
Knowledge of mechanical and electrical components of two-wheelers.
Ability to diagnose common vehicle faults.
Valuable troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Solid communication and customer-handling skills.
Ability to work independently in field operations.
Familiarity with mobile applications for service reporting is an advantage.

Eligibility
ITI / Diploma in Automobile, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field.
Candidates with experience in EV servicing or two-wheeler servicing will be preferred.
Freshers with relevant technical education may also apply.
