Role & responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for preparing and analysing financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (such as SEBI LODR, IND-AS, Companies Act). This position plays a critical role in managing auditor interactions, supporting limited reviews and statutory audits, and ensuring seamless regulatory compliance.
As a core member of the finance function, you will work closely with the AGM Finance & Accounts, acting as a key enabler in strengthening reporting frameworks, enhancing process efficiencies, and upholding the integrity of financial information.
Financial Reporting:
Financial Statements Preparation: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with INDAS / IGAAP
Month-End Close: Manage the month-end close process, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
MIS Preparation of MIS and analysis of actual performance with budget
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements, including tax filings and statutory audits.
Financial Analysis: Conduct variance analysis to compare actual results with budgeted figures, identifying trends and providing insights for management decisions.
Consolidation: Consolidation of financial statements for multiple entities within Invit
Internal Controls:
Policies and Procedures: Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure the integrity of financial data.
Audit Support: Coordinate with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and explanations during audit processes.
Reconciliations: Perform regular reconciliations of general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Budget Preparation: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, working closely with various departments to gather necessary information.
Forecasting: Prepare financial forecasts based on historical data, current trends, and future projections.
Preferred candidate profile
Chartered Accountant (CA) mandatory qualification
3–4 years of experience in financial reporting roles, Familiarity with the road sector / InVIT regulation will be an advantage.
Robust understanding of IND AS, and regulatory requirements (LODR, InvIT, Companies Act).
Proficiency in MIS preparation, variance analysis, financial consolidation, audit coordination and modelling
