Roles and Responsibilities
SAP BASIS (S/4HANA) Administration
Monitor and maintain S/4HANA systems for performance, availability, and reliability.
Perform daily system checks, background job monitoring, and HANA DB health checks.
Manage SAP transport landscape (STMS), system refreshes, and client copies.
Conduct kernel upgrades, patch applications, and performance tuning.
Collaborate with hosting partners, network teams, and SAP support for issue resolution.
Engage with third party providers for SAP integrations and implementations.
SAP Security Management
Perform user and role administration (SU01, PFCG, SUIM)
Implement and analyze authorization objects as per business requirements
Conduct periodic access reviews and clean-up of inactive users
Support ITGC compliance and audit requirements, including trace analysis
Exposure to GRC-IAG implementations and control
Production Support
Respond to system alerts and incident tickets promptly.
Troubleshoot login issues, job failures,



and system performance bottlenecks.
Ensure high system uptime during peak and non-peak hours.
Participate in scheduled maintenance, upgrades.
Engage with business teams and solve issues till closure

Must have:
At least 6 years of hands-on experience in SAP BASIS administration (S/4 HANA)
Good understanding of SAP Security (role design, user management)
Proficient in transport management, system monitoring, and tuning
Familiarity with Linux OS and HANA DB operations
Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
Versatile to work in on-call rotation or extended hours in case of incidents
Must have managed a team

Positive to Have:
Experience with SAP Fiori, Solution Manager, or interface troubleshooting (IDoc, RFC)
Awareness of audit requirements and security trace tools (ST01, SU53)
