Skillset:
Core Python & Backend
Advanced Python (including async/await, concurrency, and performance considerations)
Asynchronous programming (asyncio, async frameworks)
Strong experience with FastAPI, Pydantic, and modern Python typing
Data processing experience using Polars (or similar columnar data frameworks)
API design (RESTful APIs; familiarity with OpenAPI/Swagger)
Architecture & Design
Test-Driven Development (TDD) and solid testing practices
Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
Event-driven architecture
Solid understanding of SOLID principles, GRASP, DRY, and Clean Code
Experience applying common design patterns appropriately
Ability to reason about trade-offs in low-level design
Quality, Reliability & Operations
Robust unit, integration,



and contract testing practices (e.g., pytest)
Experience with logging, monitoring, and observability (metrics, tracing)
Understanding of performance profiling and optimization
Familiarity with error handling, resilience patterns, and fault tolerance
Tooling & Ecosystem
Version control with Git and team-oriented workflows (PR-based development)
Experience working in CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with containerization (Docker; Kubernetes a plus)
Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, etc.)
Comfort working in cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure any one is sufficient)
