Job Description: Bank Reconciliation Specialist

Position Overview: As a Bank Reconciliation Specialist at our company, candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation of financial transactions between the company's records and bank statements.
The ideal candidate should have analytical skills, attention to detail, and a valuable understanding of accounting principles and banking processes. Responsibilities:
Perform daily bank reconciliations to verify and match transactions between the company's records and bank statements.
Identify and investigate any discrepancies or variances between the company's books and bank statements.
Collaborate with the finance team to resolve outstanding items and reconcile any discrepancies found during the reconciliation process.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of bank transactions, adjustments, and reconciliations.
Monitor and analyze bank account activity,



ensuring that all transactions are properly recorded and categorized.
Assist in the identification and implementation of process improvements to streamline the bank reconciliation process and enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Prepare periodic reports summarizing the status of bank reconciliations, outstanding items, other process related reporting and any notable issues or trends for management review.
Stay updated on industry best practices, accounting regulations, and changes in banking procedures that may impact the bank reconciliation process.
Collaborate with internal and external auditors during the audit process, providing necessary documentation and explanations related to bank reconciliations.
Assisting in auditor’s and adhoc data requirement
