Job Description for Project Accountant

We are seeking a experienced Project Accountant with a background in banking (retired professionals preferred) to oversee financial management, reporting, and compliance for ongoing projects.

Key Responsibilities:
Understanding project accounts, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Generating, updating, and maintaining reports on income, expenditure, and financial transactions.
Creating and managing on-going project accounts
Reviewing and granting funds for various projects
Coordinate with project managers to track financial progress and risks.
Handle banking transactions, fund management, and cash flow planning.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and taxation requirements




Keeping a record of project expenses, contracts, and other accounting data.
Assist in internal and external audits.
Identify cost-saving prospects and financial risks.

Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Experience 5 years to 8 Years
Solid understanding of financial systems, loan structures, and compliance.
Experience in accounting, auditing, or financial management.
Familiarity with project accounting or infrastructure/industrial projects is an advantage.
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Excel).
