Job Summary

The Engineering Junior Technician supports engineering and maintenance activities by assisting with installation, testing, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of equipment, machinery, or systems. The role works closely with engineers and senior technicians to ensure smooth operations and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of equipment and systems.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities.
Troubleshoot basic mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation issues.
Support testing, calibration, and performance verification of equipment.
Maintain maintenance logs, service records, and technical documentation.
Follow engineering drawings, SOPs, and work instructions.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other departments as required.




Report equipment faults and recommend corrective actions.
Assist in inventory management of spare parts and tools.

Qualifications
Diploma or ITI in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related engineering field.
Freshers or candidates with 0–2 years of relevant experience.
Basic understanding of engineering principles and maintenance practices.
Ability to read technical drawings and manuals is preferred.

Skills Required
Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment.
Valuable communication and teamwork abilities.
Attention to detail and safety awareness.
Basic computer skills (MS Office, maintenance software, etc.).
