Job Title: Automation QA Engineer (Selenium, Cucumber, Java/Python)

Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Automation QA Engineer with hands-on experience in Selenium, Cucumber (BDD), and programming using Java or Python. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automation test scripts to ensure high-quality software delivery across web and enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java/Python
Develop and implement BDD frameworks using Cucumber, including feature files and step definitions
Create and execute automated test suites for functional, regression, and integration testing
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test scenarios
Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA or similar defect management systems
Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test documentation
Integrate automated test scripts into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, etc.)
Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing to ensure application compatibility
Analyze test results, debug issues, and enhance automation frameworks continuously




Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives

Experience in Healthcare domain is mandatory

Required Skills Qualifications
Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver
Proficiency in programming using Java or Python
Experience with Cucumber (BDD framework)
Knowledge of TestNG/JUnit or similar testing frameworks
Valuable understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and version control systems like Git
Solid knowledge of test design techniques and defect management processes
Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills

Positive to Have
API testing experience (Postman / REST Assured)
Experience with Maven, Docker, or cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter)
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
