Pre-Sales Technical Specialist - IT Infrastructure

Job Description:

Role Overview: We are looking for a technically skilled and customer-focused Pre-Sales Technical Specialist to support the sales team in delivering tailored IT infrastructure solutions. The candidate will act as a technical bridge between clients and internal teams, providing guidance across networking, servers, storage, cloud, cybersecurity, and enterprise IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and propose suitable IT infrastructure solutions
Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and Proofs-of-Concept (POCs)
Respond to RFPs/RFIs/RFQs with detailed technical inputs and solution designs
Perform infrastructure sizing, solution design, and BoQ preparation
Coordinate with OEMs and distributors for solution validation and pricing
Prepare solution architecture documents, HLDs/LLDs, and compliance matrices
Stay updated on the latest technologies and trends in IT infrastructure




Collaborate with delivery and support teams for smooth handover and implementation
Build solid client relationships as a trusted technical advisor

Key Skills:
Robust experience in IT infrastructure pre-sales or solution architecture
Positive understanding of servers, storage, virtualisation, networking, cloud, and cybersecurity
Familiarity with enterprise OEMs like Dell, HPE, Cisco, Microsoft, VMware, etc.
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to manage multiple proposals and work under deadlines

Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
5+ years of relevant experience in pre-sales / system engineering roles
Relevant certifications (CCNA, MCSE, VCP, AWS/Azure, etc.) are a plus

Preferred Attributes:
Experience handling large RFPs or government tenders
Exposure to DR planning or business continuity strategies
Ability to align technical solutions with business requirements
