B.E/B. Tech/M.E/M.Tech in Power Electronics / Electronics / Communication / Electrical

Experience: 10 to 12 years.

Responsibilities
Lead the Functional Safety team by providing technical guidance on ISO26262 Part4 (Systems Level), Part 5 and Part6 by doing hands on
Deriving Functional Safety Requirements for Transmission, Inverter, DC-DC converter and other Power Electronics Sub-Systems.
Developing Technical Safety Concept, Technical Safety Requirements, Hardware Safety Requirements and Software Safety Requirements for Electrification product line
Developing Level 2 - Function Monitoring layer as per EGAS standards.
Developing System Design for Transmission, Inverter and other Power Electronics Sub-Systems using Matlab tools.
Interface with experts across the globe to evaluate and specify power electronics sub-systems requirements.
Generate power electronics controllers design concept (Product Mechanization).
Perform change management with the customer and internally (Requirements management in Polarion)
Generate product functional test plan (compliance testing)
Perform product functional testing on test bench and dynamometer.
Guiding the team in the estimation, planning, and execution of safety activities.




Ensuring that work products are delivered with quality and in accordance with the plan

Major Job Qualifications
Deep Expertise in Functional Safety (Minimum 6 years of experience in FS, Developing TSC, FSR, TSR, HSR and SSR).
ISO26262 external audit experience and gap analysis.
Vast experience in handling customers and leading teams.
Vehicle and Dynamometer testing experience.
Fair knowledge and hands on experience in power electronics controllers used for battery management, inverter management, motor maneuvering & position sensing and DC-DC conversion.
Cyber security knowledge is an added advantage,.
L1 ISO 26262 certification
Deep understanding of System Architecture involved in ECU.
Positive understanding of Electronics circuits in ECU for PE Sub-Sy
Expertise in microcontroller, its on-chip peripherals and ASIC s.
Experience in real-time embedded system design
