Job Description:

The IT Infrastructure and Services Engineer will be responsible for the operation and management of IT infrastructure and services at DAE Secretariat, Mumbai. The engineer will work under the guidance of officials in CISD (Computer and Information Systems Division) and will be responsible for:
Monitoring and maintaining IT facilities, including servers, virtual machines, and PCs
Deploying and configuring servers, including Linux and Windows-based servers
Providing support for OS, servers, and desktop management
Managing backup and data recovery
Monitoring IT services and facilities, including internet links and security measures
Providing desktop management, AMC management, and support
Managing video conferencing facilities





Requirements:
Educational Qualifications: B.Tech/B.E/MCA/M.Sc or equivalent degree.
Technical Skills:
Linux Kernel-based OS (RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu)
Virtualization solutions (KVM, Xen)
IT Security
Container and application-level vulnerability fixing
Applying OS and application patches
Hardening of servers
Database management (MySQL, Postgres)
Shell scripting
Soft Skills:
Valuable communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Robust problem-solving and analytical skills.
