Kruti Coffee is looking for Continental chef to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey.A Continental Chef is responsible for overseeing the preparation and cooking of a wide range of dishes.
Job Duties:
¢‚¢ Plan and oversee the preparation of all menu items, including appetizers, entrees, and desserts
¢‚¢ Develop and create new dishes that appeal to the restaurant's target audience while maintaining the quality and standard of existing dishes
¢‚¢ Ensure that all food is prepared and presented according to established standards for taste, texture, and appearance
¢‚¢ Manage and supervise kitchen staff, including line cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers, to ensure that all kitchen operations run smoothly
¢‚¢ Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed to maintain adequate stock levels
¢‚¢ Oversee food preparation and cooking to ensure that food is cooked to the correct temperature and that all dishes are prepared according to the recipe
Requirements:
¢‚¢ A degree or diploma in culinary arts, or several years of experience in a similar role




¢‚¢ In-depth knowledge of Western and European cuisines and cooking techniques
¢‚¢ Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff
¢‚¢ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other members of the kitchen team and front-of-house staff
¢‚¢ Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain consistency and quality in all dishes
¢‚¢ Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a rapid-paced setting
¢‚¢ Familiarity with food safety and sanitation guidelines and the ability to maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen workplace
