To independently evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide spectrum of cardiovascular conditions across clinic, homecare, and ambulatory settings, ensuring accessible, patient-centered, and evidence-based cardiac care.
The role involves performing and interpreting non-invasive cardiac diagnostics (ECG, 2D ECHO, TMT, Holter), managing chronic and acute cardiac conditions, and providing preventive cardiology services.
The consultant is responsible for ensuring continuity of care across settings, optimizing medical management, and coordinating timely referrals for interventional or surgical care when required.
Additionally, the role includes mentoring junior clinicians, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, adhering to NABH/JCI protocols, and contributing to patient education, preventive health programs,



and quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
Independently manage OPD cardiac cases
Interpret and report ECG, 2D ECHO, TMT, Holter, and other non-invasive investigations
Develop and implement preventive cardiology programs
Supervise and guide junior doctors and residents (level 3,4,5)
Participate in clinical audits, quality initiatives, and protocol development
Ensure compliance with ethical standards, infection control, and patient safety protocols
Coordinate with interventional cardiology and other specialties for comprehensive care
