Roles Responsibilities:
Solid understanding of global payment systems including:
SWIFT (MT103, MT202)
FED payments
Internal transfers
FX transactions
Knowledge of global banking settlement codes:
ABA, Sort Code, BSB, BIC, IBAN
RTGS, NEFT
Various global payment and cash settlement mechanisms
Hands-on experience in manual payments / wire processing , with a explicit understanding of end-to-end payment lifecycle
Ability to:
Read and interpret Standard Settlement Instructions (SSIs)
Identify missing or incorrect payment information
Process responsibilities:
Vendor invoice verification and payment execution via banking portals
Custody and fund-related bank invoice validation
Subscription and redemption payment processing
Operational tasks:
Mailbox monitoring and prioritizing payments based on currency cut-offs
Support global teams with daily payment requirements
Client interaction:
Handle queries via email and calls with clients and local offices
Reporting controls:
Ensure all daily processing is completed and signed off
Identify, report, and escalate issues or delays proactively
Team performance:




Work effectively in a team environment
Handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines
Demonstrate flexibility to work in shift-based operations

Additional Responsibilities (Leadership Level):
Manage and guide a team of 10+ members
Oversee end-to-end Treasury / Payments operations
Prepare and manage MIS reports

Required Skills:
Robust knowledge of payments, treasury, and banking operations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities

Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in B

Com , MBA , or equivalent
Knowledge of Hedge Funds / Private Equity is an added advantage

Experience Requirements:
Minimum 7+ years of experience in:
FX / Payments processing
Payment investigations
SWIFT FED payment handling
Prior experience in:
Payments / Banking / Treasury / Transfer Agency (preferred)
