Overview

You will lead deployment, service, and replenishment planning for General Mills India’s network supporting plants, warehouses, and business teams in the US. This role combines people leadership, service management, and network planning to improve case-fill performance, balance cost and service trade-offs, and manage supply risks. You will work closely with distribution, supply, demand planning, replenishment, and system governance teams to deliver reliable execution and continuous improvement. The role requires you to operate in 3:30 PM to 12:30 AM.

Key Accountabilities

- Cross-functional leadership: Provide logistics operations leadership and coaching, building strong partnerships across Deliver, Plan, and Operating Unit stakeholders to influence outcomes.

- Distribution planning & KPIs: Own supply chain distribution planning of finished goods for assigned OUs/DCs, hitting case fill and service KPIs while optimizing transportation and inventory costs.

- Tactical deployment & regional support:



Accountable for deployment decision-making and process governance for assigned OU/DCs; act as Regional Replenishment lead supporting US Replenishment Managers on short-term network execution, and help resolve transportation, warehouse, and network constraints.

- Systems & reporting: Build expertise in planning systems (SAP R/3, OMP etc) and provide regular stakeholder updates on fill rates, service, inventory, and capacity constraints.

- Process execution: Collaborate across supply chain pillars to improve product/information flow, ensure standard-process compliance, and apply continuous improvement tools under a Run-Improve-Transform approach.

- Strategic projects: Partner with cross-functional teams on key planning cycles and improve/transform initiatives, leading org/function-level efforts to drive efficiencies and cost savings.

- Continuous improvement & innovation: Design automated, standardized, lean, and scalable solutions; benchmark externally; lead cost-saving ideation through implementation; build sustainable capability tools.

- Professional development: Engage in soft-skills training and Future Skills platforms to build emerging-tech and SC capabilities.

- People management: Set fiscal-year goals, coach and develop managers/team members,



run performance management cycles (goal setting, reviews, development plans), and hire/retain talent for uninterrupted execution.

- Organizational effectiveness: Lead/support rollout of recent distribution planning capabilities and develop a best-in-class training framework for Deployment.

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience.

- Strong supply chain experience, especially in distribution planning, logistics, or replenishment.

- Working knowledge of planning and ERP tools such as SAP, OMP, O9, Inventory Analyst, and Tableau.

- Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

- Experience coaching, developing, and leading teams.

- Ability to manage ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and deliver under tight timelines.

Preferred Qualifications

- Master’s degree in supply chain or a related field.

- APICS CSCP, PMP, or Six Sigma certification.

- Experience leading automation, benchmarking, or transformation initiatives.

- Experience driving cost savings and scalable process improvements.
