Role Description This is a full-time, in office Interior Designer role based in Velachery. The Interior Designer will translate client requirements into functional and aesthetic design concepts for residential interiors, including space planning, material selection, and overall layout. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting clients, preparing mood boards, developing interior design proposals, coordinating construction drawings, and collaborating with vendors on FF&E; (furniture, fixtures, and equipment). The role involves site visits to monitor execution quality, ensure alignment with design specifications, and address any design-related issues during installation.



The Interior Designer will work closely with the project team to deliver projects on time, within budget, and in line with Homzinterio's design and quality standards.
Qualifications

- Strong interior design and space planning skills, with the ability to create functional, visually appealing residential layouts.
- Knowledge of architecture principles and construction drawings, including the ability to read, prepare, and coordinate technical plans.
- Experience with FF&E; selection and coordination, including materials, finishes, furnishings, fixtures, and equipment suited to project budgets and styles.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic familiarity with 3D visualization tools.
- Excellent client communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly explain design concepts and manage expectations.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and project coordination skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; prior experience in residential interior projects is preferred.
