Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Estimation and Costing role based in Gurugram. The position involves preparing detailed cost estimates for civil engineering and infrastructure projects, including analyzing drawings, specifications, and tender documents. The role requires evaluating material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs, and preparing bid proposals and cost breakdowns for management review. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with engineering and project teams to clarify technical requirements, updating cost databases and pricing benchmarks,



and supporting budget preparation and cost control during project execution. The individual will also assist in risk analysis, value engineering, and providing cost-related inputs to support decision-making and contract negotiations.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in civil engineering principles and construction practices, preferably supported by a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in estimation and costing methodologies for infrastructure projects, including quantity take-offs and rate analysis.
- Experience with relevant software tools such as MS Excel, estimation software, and basic project management applications.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and tender documents accurately.
- Effective analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in cost calculations.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for coordination with project, procurement, and management teams.
- Organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tenders and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in infrastructure or construction estimation roles is advantageous; familiarity with Indian standards and local market rates is a plus.
