About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Research & Development Scientist to join our energetic team, focusing on the development of CAR-T cell therapies. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in primary immune cell culture, CAR-T cell generation, and molecular biology techniques. This role involves supporting the entire pipeline from early discovery to preclinical development, contributing to the design and execution of experiments, and developing novel therapeutic products. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including process development, analytical development, and manufacturing, to ensure the successful progression of CAR-T therapies. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of cell therapy innovation, contributing to impactful healthcare solutions.

Qualifications





The ideal candidate should hold an MSc, MTech, or PhD in Biotechnology, Immunology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Life Sciences, or a related field. Candidates should have a minimum of 3-6 years of experience in relevant research and development environments, preferably in CAR-T, cell therapy, or immunology R&D.; Strong technical expertise in primary human cell culture, PBMC isolation, T-cell activation and expansion, and CAR-T cell characterization is essential. Experience with molecular biology techniques such as PCR, qPCR, RT-qPCR, ddPCR, flow cytometry, cytotoxicity assays, and cell-based functional assays is required. Familiarity with GLP/GMP documentation and experience in technology transfer are considered advantageous.

Responsibilities

- Design and execute experiments related to CAR-T cell development, including primary human T cell isolation, activation, and expansion.
- Perform mammalian and primary cell culture under sterile conditions to ensure optimal cell growth and functionality.
- Conduct viral transduction procedures using Lentivirus or Retrovirus systems for CAR expression in T cells.
- Develop and validate analytical methods for CAR-T cell characterization, including flow cytometry-based immunophenotyping and functional assays.
- Develop and execute cytotoxicity and potency assays to evaluate CAR-T cell efficacy.
- Perform molecular biology techniques such as PCR, qPCR, RT-qPCR,



and ddPCR to analyze gene expression and transduction efficiency.
- Perform cell viability, proliferation, apoptosis, and cytokine assays to assess cell health and activity.
- Analyze experimental data, prepare detailed technical reports, and maintain accurate scientific documentation.
- Draft SOPs, study protocols, and other scientific documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including process development, analytical development, and manufacturing to ensure project milestones are met.
