KJK Hospital is seeking a compassionate and experienced Consultant Pediatrician to provide quality medical care for infants, children, and adolescents. The role involves diagnosis, treatment, preventive care, and counselling for patients and their families.

Consultant Pediatrician

Location: KJK Hospital, Trivandrum

Employment Type: Full-time

Experience: Minimum 2 years

Key Responsibilities

•⁠ ⁠Conduct paediatric consultations and health assessments.

•⁠ ⁠Diagnose and treat common and complex paediatric conditions.

•⁠ ⁠Monitor children's growth, development, nutrition, and overall health.

•⁠ ⁠Provide vaccination guidance and preventive healthcare.

•⁠ ⁠Manage inpatients and attend to paediatric emergencies.

•⁠ ⁠Prescribe medications and recommend investigations and treatment plans.

•⁠ ⁠Counsel parents on treatment, nutrition,



hygiene, immunisation, and follow-up care.

•⁠ ⁠Maintain accurate patient records and coordinate with other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications and Skills

•⁠ ⁠MD/DNB in Pediatrics or an equivalent recognised qualification.

•⁠ ⁠Valid medical registration and licence to practise.

•⁠ ⁠Minimum 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience.

•⁠ ⁠Solid clinical judgement and communication skills.

•⁠ ⁠Compassionate and child-friendly approach to patient care.
