Role Description This is a full time, on-site Paediatric Physiotherapist role based in Bahraich. The Paediatric Physiotherapist will assess children with developmental delays, disabilities, and motor challenges, and create individualized therapy plans to support their physical development. Daily responsibilities include conducting therapy sessions, monitoring progress, updating treatment plans, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation. The role involves close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, as well as regular communication with parents, caregivers, and teachers to provide guidance on home-based exercises and strategies. The Paediatric Physiotherapist will also contribute to awareness initiatives, parent training sessions, and program development to enhance overall child outcomes.
Qualifications
- Professional qualification in Physiotherapy (Bachelor's or Master's in Physiotherapy), preferably with specialization or experience in pediatrics.
- Strong knowledge of pediatric motor development, neurodevelopmental conditions, and evidence-based physiotherapy techniques.
- Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized therapy programs for children with developmental delays and disabilities.
- Effective communication and counseling skills to work with children, families, teachers, and multidisciplinary clinical teams.
- Capability to maintain clear, accurate clinical records and report outcomes in line with standardized protocols.
- Demonstrated empathy, patience, and sensitivity when working with children and caregivers from diverse backgrounds.
- Experience with parent and caregiver training, including designing home exercise programs and educational materials.
- Willingness to participate in awareness activities, workshops, and continuous professional development related to pediatric rehabilitation.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and use of online platforms; familiarity with tele-intervention is an added advantage.
- Prior experience in pediatric rehabilitation, special education settings, or developmental clinics is preferred but not mandatory.
