Role Descrng>iption The Floor Coordinator is responsible for managing day-to-day operations on the assigned hospital floor to ensure smooth patient flow and productive coordination between clinical and non-clinical staff. This full-time, on-site role is based in Jamnagar and involves closely monitoring patient admissions, transfers, and discharges while maintaining accurate records and documentation. The Floor Coordinator supports nurses and doctors by coordinating diagnostics, procedures, and support services, and by addressing patient and family queries in a professional and timely manner. The role includes overseeing cleanliness and safety on the floor, coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance teams, and escalating issues when necessary. The Floor Coordinator is expected to maintain strong communication with all departments, assist with basic administrative tasks, and uphold hospital policies, protocols, and service standards.
Qualifications

- Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively on a busy hospital floor.




- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact professionally with patients, families, doctors, nurses, and support staff.
- Basic administrative and documentation skills, including maintaining patient records, updating logs, and handling routine reporting accurately.
- Attention to detail and a focus on safety and hygiene, ensuring that the floor environment meets hospital standards and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, handle patient-related issues with empathy, and resolve operational problems through collaboration.
- Prior experience in hospital operations, patient services, or healthcare administration is preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum educational qualification: diploma or bachelor's degree in any discipline; healthcare or management-related qualifications are an advantage.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by hospital operations.
