Job Description

Reliable Global Exim Pvt Ltd is looking for an experienced Senior Billing Accountant with a solid background in the CHA (Custom House Agent), Freight Forwarding, Logistics, or Import-Export Industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the complete billing department, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, smooth dispatch of bills, outstanding payment follow-ups, and leading the billing team efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle and supervise the complete Billing Department.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of customer invoices for import, export, transportation, customs clearance, and freight forwarding services.
- Monitor the complete billing process and ensure all invoices are dispatched to customers on time.
- Ensure smooth coordination between the Operations, Documentation, Accounts, and Billing Departments.
- Track outstanding invoices and follow up with debtors through calls, emails, and regular reminders to ensure timely collections.
- Coordinate with customers regarding billing discrepancies, payment issues, and account reconciliations.
- Maintain debtor ageing reports and provide regular updates on outstanding payments.
- Report daily, weekly, and monthly billing and collection status to the Senior Accountant.




- Ensure all billing records, supporting documents, and customer files are maintained accurately.
- Assist in credit control and monitor customer credit limits.
- Prepare billing MIS reports and support month-end closing activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory billing requirements.
- Lead, train, and manage the billing team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and productivity.

Requirements

- 2–10+ years of experience in Billing within the CHA, Freight Forwarding, Logistics, or Import-Export Industry.
- Experience in independently handling the Billing Department.
- Strong knowledge of customer billing, debtor management, invoice reconciliation, and collection follow-ups.
- Experience in following up with customers for outstanding payments through phone calls and emails.
- Ability to manage a team and ensure smooth workflow within the billing department.
- Good knowledge of Tally, MS Excel, and ERP/Accounting software.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet billing deadlines.

Preferred Candidate

- Immediate Joiners will be given preference.
- Prior team handling experience is mandatory.
- Experience in the CHA/Freight Forwarding industry will be preferred.
