Manipal Hospitals is seeking dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacists to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will play a critical part in patient care by ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. Your primary responsibilities will include dispensing prescribed medications, counseling patients on proper medication use, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize pharmacotherapy. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate medication records, conducting medication therapy management, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Dispense medications as per prescriptions and provide accurate medication information to patients.
- Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and potential drug interactions.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to review patient medication regimens.
- Monitor patient medication therapy for efficacy and safety.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceuticals, including new drugs and changes in regulations.




- Provide medication therapy management services to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
- Ensure proper storage and security of medications and manage inventory effectively.
- Conduct health screenings and provide immunizations as per protocols.
- Participate in continuing education and career development activities.

Skills and Tools Required:

- Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid pharmacy license to practice in the respective state/region.
- Robust knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutics, and pharmacy law.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using pharmacy management software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and maintaining ethical standards.
