Key Responsibilities

Design & Drafting

- Prepare detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings for fire protection systems.
- Develop layouts for fire sprinkler systems, hydrant systems, hose reel systems, and fire alarm systems.
- Prepare piping layouts, isometric drawings, and sectional details.
- Produce General Arrangement (GA) drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings.
- Prepare equipment layout drawings and piping routing drawings.
- Modify drawings based on client comments and site requirements.

Project Coordination

- Coordinate with Project Engineers, Site Engineers, and Project Managers.
- Visit project sites whenever required to verify dimensions and collect site data.
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and approved standards.
- Support the execution team with technical drawings throughout the project lifecycle.

Documentation

- Maintain drawing revisions and document control.
- Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and material quantity take-offs from drawings.
- Maintain drawing records and project documentation.
- Ensure timely submission of drawings as per project schedules.

Quality & Standards

- Prepare drawings in accordance with relevant Indian Standards (IS), NBC, and applicable fire safety guidelines.




- Ensure accuracy, readability, and consistency in all drawings.
- Coordinate with consultants and clients for drawing approvals.

Required Skills

- Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD (2D).
- Ability to prepare fire sprinkler and hydrant piping layouts.
- Understanding of piping routing, fittings, valves, pumps, and fire protection equipment.
- Knowledge of BOQ preparation and quantity estimation.
- Ability to read architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and drafting accuracy.
- Valuable communication and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of MS Office.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of Fire Protection System Design.
- Experience with AutoCAD 3D, Revit MEP, or BIM will be an added advantage.
- Familiarity with hydraulic calculations is preferred.
- Experience in preparing as-built drawings.

Qualification

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Draftsman Mechanical, or a related field.
- AutoCAD Certification is preferred.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
