Job Purpose: The Person in this Position is responsible for obtaining x-ray images of patient(s), which in turn used by Doctors (physicians) to decide on correct treatment schedules for the patient(s), along with accurate diagnosis.

Primary Responsibilities: 1. Prepare patients for radiological procedures and take X-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.

2. To wear TLD batches to measure the radiation absorbed and apron to protect from radiation.

3. Protect patients, oneself, and staff from radiation exposure by practicing sound procedures which meet or exceed recommended industry standards.

4. Develop and process radiological film,

5. Obtain Quality diagnostic radiographs as requested by Physician, PA, or NP. Maintain a repeat rate of two percent or less.

6. Work closely with the Physician, PA, or NP to receive guidance and instruction for treating patients.

7. Ensure that all equipment is in positive working condition and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Report immediately any equipment malfunctions to Supervisor.

9. Log completed radiological procedures. Complete paperwork accurately and on time.

10. Identify and file reports as required. Request retrieve and track files to and from other departments or centers.

11. Maintain x-ray room, stock necessary radiological supplies.

12. Makes suggestions to improve work methods.

13. To maintain various documents as per requirement, MLC register along with complete patience information and X-Ray records of the patients.

14. Waste management procedure to be followed

15. To manage any kind of emergency situations in the X ray room.

16. Any other related tasks as per the requiremen.

Qualification: Diploma/B.Sc. in Radiology / Medical Imaging Technology or equivalent

Location: Gadag.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
