Solar Sales Executive – Field Sales

Employment Type: Full-Time

Experience: 6 Months to 1.5 Years in Solar Sales

Qualification: Any Graduate

Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month, including PF & ESI

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and result-oriented Solar Sales Executive – Field Sales to join our team in Bhopal. The candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, meeting potential customers, promoting solar energy solutions, handling field sales activities, and achieving assigned sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Generate new leads and identify potential customers for solar products and solutions.

- Conduct field visits to residential, commercial, industrial, and other potential customer locations.

- Meet prospective customers, understand their requirements, and recommend suitable solar solutions.

- Explain solar products, system specifications, benefits, savings, ROI, pricing, and available financing options.

- Generate sales through direct field visits, referrals, networking, dealer/channel partners, and other lead-generation activities.

- Conduct customer/site visits and collect the basic information required for solar system proposals.

- Coordinate with the technical team for site surveys, feasibility assessments, system design, and quotations.

- Prepare and follow up on quotations and proposals with prospective customers.

- Negotiate with customers and convert qualified leads into confirmed orders.





- Maintain regular follow-ups with leads and ensure timely closure of sales opportunities.

- Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.

- Maintain accurate records of leads, customer interactions, follow-ups, quotations, and sales.

- Coordinate with the installation and operations teams after order confirmation for smooth project execution.

- Handle customer queries and provide appropriate pre-sales and post-sales support.

- Identify new business opportunities and develop the solar market within the assigned territory.

- Keep updated with solar products, market trends, competitors, pricing, government schemes, and customer requirements.

- Participate in promotional activities, exhibitions, campaigns, customer meetings, and other business-development activities.

- Submit regular sales reports and market updates to the reporting manager.

- Maintain professional customer relationships and represent the company positively in the market.

- Ability to generate leads and convert prospects into customers.

- Basic knowledge of solar energy systems and products.

- Target-oriented and result-driven approach.

- Strong follow-up and customer relationship management skills.

- Willingness to travel extensively for field sales activities.

- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

- Good knowledge of the Bhopal/local market will be an added advantage.

- Having a personal vehicle and a valid driving licence will be an added advantage.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate should have 6 months to 1.5 years of experience in Solar Sales and should be confident in field sales, lead generation, customer handling, negotiation, follow-ups, and achieving sales targets. The candidate should be energetic, self-motivated, and willing to travel for business development activities.
