Job Description

DRIEMS University is seeking an experienced and responsible Ladies Hostel Superintendent to oversee the daily operations of the ladies’ hostel. The ideal candidate will ensure a secure, secure, disciplined, and supportive living environment for students while coordinating with university administration for smooth hostel management.

Responsibilities

- Supervise the day-to-day operations of the ladies’ hostel.
- Ensure the safety, security, and well-being of all hostel residents.
- Maintain discipline and enforce hostel rules and regulations.
- Handle student grievances and resolve issues promptly.
- Coordinate with the university administration and other departments.
- Monitor housekeeping, sanitation, maintenance, and hostel facilities.
- Maintain hostel records, attendance, visitor registers, and reports.
- Organize hostel activities and ensure compliance with university policies.





Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s Degree preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Hostel Superintendent/Hostel Warden or in hostel administration.
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Good organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office and email).

Preferred Skills

- Leadership and team management.
- Conflict resolution and decision-making.
- Ability to work independently and handle emergencies.

Experience

Minimum 5 years (Required)

Education

Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
Master’s Degree (Preferred)
