We are seeking an experienced *SCM Lead – Plastic Division* to drive and manage end-to-end supply chain operations for our plastic manufacturing unit, including injection molding processes. The role will be responsible for procurement, vendor development, inventory management, logistics coordination, and ensuring uninterrupted material flow to support production.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead complete supply chain operations for the Plastic Division
* Develop and execute procurement strategies for raw materials, molds, consumables, and bought-out items
* Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors for quality and cost efficiency
* Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms with suppliers
* Coordinate with Production, Planning, QA, Tool Room, and Stores teams
* Ensure timely material availability for uninterrupted production




* Monitor and optimize inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess
* Approve purchase requisitions and purchase orders
* Track supplier performance and drive improvement initiatives
* Resolve issues related to delays, quality concerns, and shortages
* Analyze market trends and implement cost-saving initiatives
* Lead forecasting and material planning activities
* Coordinate logistics for inbound and outbound materials
* Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and 5S practices
* Prepare MIS reports, supplier performance reports, and inventory analysis
* Drive continuous improvement in supply chain efficiency and cost optimization
* Support current product development through supplier coordination
Skills & Knowledge:
* Strong understanding of injection molding and plastic manufacturing processes
* Expertise in procurement, vendor development, inventory management, and production planning
* Experience with ERP systems and supply chain tools
