Role Summary

LaunchPad IAS is looking for a motivated and student-focused Academic Counsellor to guide aspirants in choosing the right courses and support them throughout their learning journey. The role involves counselling prospective students, converting leads into admissions, maintaining strong relationships with students, and contributing to the institute's growth.

Success in this role means building trust with students, achieving admission targets, providing excellent guidance, and ensuring a positive student experience from inquiry to enrollment.

Responsilities

- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding UPSC, PCS, and other competitive exam preparation programs.
- Understand student requirements and recommend suitable courses and study plans.
- Convert inquiries and leads into admissions through effective communication and follow-ups.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions in CRM systems.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with students and parents.




- Coordinate with academic and operations teams to ensure a seamless admission process.
- Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets.
- Handle walk-ins, phone inquiries, WhatsApp leads, and online counselling sessions.
- Support promotional activities, seminars, webinars, and student outreach initiatives.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid counselling, persuasion, and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to understand student needs and provide suitable guidance.
- Basic knowledge of CRM software and MS Office tools.
- Target-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Prior experience in Academic Counselling, Admissions, Sales, Customer Support, or EdTech will be preferred.
- Knowledge of UPSC, PCS, or competitive examinations will be an added advantage.
