By delivering practical, hands-on astronomy experiences directly to schools and communities, Navars enables learners to explore, engage, and experience astro concepts beyond traditional classroom settings.Role Description The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) – Business Development role is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. The individual in this role will identify and develop CSR partnerships with schools, NGOs, corporates, and community organizations to expand access to Navars’ astronomy labs, DIY kits, and portable planetarium programs. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and qualifying leads, preparing proposals, managing stakeholder relationships, and coordinating CSR initiatives that align with Navars’ mission of science outreach. The role involves collaborating with internal teams to design CSR projects, tracking impact metrics,



and supporting fundraising or grant opportunities. The individual will also conduct presentations, participate in outreach events, and ensure a high standard of customer experience for partners and beneficiaries.Qualifications Strong Analytical Skills with the ability to assess CSR opportunities, interpret data, and evaluate project impact.Knowledge of Finance concepts related to budgeting, ROI analysis, and CSR project funding or grant management.Excellent Communication skills for presentations, stakeholder engagement, proposal writing, and cross-functional collaboration.Customer Service orientation to manage partner relationships, respond to queries, and ensure satisfaction with CSR initiatives.Experience in Training, including delivering sessions, workshops, or orientations for schools, partners, and community groups.Background in business development, CSR, social impact, education, or related fields is highly beneficial.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Social Sciences, Education, or a related discipline; a postgraduate qualification is an advantage.Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad, travel locally for outreach activities, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Interest in astronomy, STEM education, and community outreach, with a commitment to inclusive and ethical practices.
