Patch the Skill serves diverse industries, including BFSI, and focuses on industry-relevant, practical learning experiences that help learners build job-ready capabilities.Role Description The OKTA Mentor role at Patch the Skill is a part-time, remote position focused on guiding learners through OKTA-related concepts, configurations, and best practices. In this role, the mentor will design and deliver virtual training sessions, create and refine learning materials, and provide hands-on support with OKTA setup, integration, and troubleshooting in lab or project environments. The mentor will answer learner questions, review assignments,



and offer constructive feedback to help participants build real-world identity and access management skills. The role also involves staying current with OKTA features and updates, collaborating with the training team to improve course content, and helping align training outcomes with industry requirements.Qualifications Robust OKTA expertise, including user lifecycle management, SSO configuration, MFA, and integration with common applications.Experience with identity and access management (IAM) concepts and related security best practices.Ability to design and deliver technical training, including creating clear documentation, labs, and instructional materials.Effective communication and mentoring skills, with the ability to explain complex topics in a straightforward, learner-friendly manner.Comfort working remotely, managing part-time schedules, and using online collaboration and learning platforms.Prior experience in corporate training, technical mentoring, or coaching is highly beneficial.Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline) or equivalent practical experience.Relevant certifications in OKTA or IAM technologies are a plus.
