Job Summary:

We are looking for a Payroll Specialist who will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing for the United States and Canada, while also ensuring accurate accounting and financial recording of payroll transactions in the company's books of accounts. The role requires strong knowledge of payroll regulations, tax compliance, and accounting principles to support both the HR and Finance functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Processing:

- Process bi-weekly for employees and consultants in the United States and Canada.




- Ensure accurate calculation of wages, bonuses, incentives, reimbursements, and deductions.
- Manage payroll data including new hires, terminations, benefits, and payroll adjustments.
- Coordinate with payroll platforms such as ADP, Paycom, or similar systems.
- Audit the timesheet data before running the payroll

Payroll Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and provincial payroll regulations.
- Coordinate with external payroll providers and consultants for compliance requirements.

Payroll Accounting:

- Post payroll journal entries into the accounting system.
- Record salary expenses, payroll taxes, perks, and accruals in the correct ledger accounts.
- Perform payroll-related reconciliations with the general ledger.
- Ensure proper classification of payroll expenses in the books.
- Month-End Closing Support
- Run end to end Incentive process cycle.
