POSITION DETAILS

Position Summary

Growth of sourcing spend and supply base in India and China needs close working with suppliers to manage their purchase orders to ensure supplier Ontime delivery > 95% to Circor global sites. Sourcing transition projects needs project coordination activities extensively and this position needs to support the global commodity managers in managing various projects.

Principal Activities

- Work with Circor Industrial global sites to prepare, update and report the open purchase orders status periodically
- Open order report management by site and by supplier at set frequency, collaboratively work with purchasing team.
- Work closely with the suppliers to ensure > 95% SOTD through periodic follow ups, visits & meetings
- Coordination between global sites and supplies in delivery instruction, advance shipment notification, shipment clearance & consolidation where required
- Support Global Commodity Managers in sourcing project transitions and project coordination activities
- Prepare, update, maintain & report Sourcing Projects Dashboard to project team periodically.
- Prepare,



maintain and report Industrial Supply Chain / Sourcing metrics dashboard.
- Actively engage in risk management of the projects, supplier deliveries and share lessons learnt from other similar projects or industry best practices.
- Publish the weekly open orders to the team.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge Skills & Abilities

- Valuable knowledge and experience in Project Management techniques.
- Good knowledge of the material standards and processes.
- Good knowledge / exposure in various manufacturing processes like Castings, Forgings, Machining etc.,
- Hands on experience in MS Excel – Report preparation and analysis
- Good English communication skill – Writing & Spoken
- Ability to manage various commodity suppliers
- Should be strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills

Education & Experience

• Bachelor of Engineering / Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Industrial / Metallurgy.

• Min 3 years of experience in manufacturing industries in project management function / any function with project

management experience / Supplier management.

• Hands on experience with Casting /Machining /Forgings will be desirable for this role
