Role:

Marks is currently seeking a skilled AI USD CGI Supervisor to join our global Content Studio team (CGI, Photography, Retouching, Video and Post Production) evolve our pipeline to adopt a USD first approach. The ideal candidates will demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of USD pipelines, 3D software and workflows as well as the nuances of the CGI industry as it relates to CPG goods.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with 3D teams to build USD-centric workflow improvements.
- Create, refine and test solutions to 3D pipeline issues.
- Identify and resolve technical issues both in and out of DCCs when they occur.
- Create and maintain pipeline documentation.




- Help lead and develop internal adoption of pipeline tools and technologies across creative disciplines.
- Develop and adapt pipeline solutions to client-centric schemas and ways of working.
- Help establish and maintain a high level of quality control.

Skills and Abilities:

- Experience with practical application of USD concepts such as primitive objects, LIVRPS, groups and hierarchies, schemas, layers and composition.
- Experience with I/O of USD for various DCCs (mainly Maya & Houdini) as well as external traversal and manipulation of USD files.
- Experience with developing for Hydra delegates.
- Python & C++ experience as it pertains to DCC intergration.
- Experience in creating plugins for the following software/DCCs: Maya, Houdini, V-Ray, Karma, Substance Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator.
- Demonstrated decision making skills and robust communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to share skills and knowledge with other team members.
- Ability to work both as part of a team and unsupervised.
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to produce high quality visuals to tight deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Relevant 2-4 Years of practical USD pipeline experience.
- Knowledge and interest in emerging technologies.
