Job Title Diesel Engine Maintenance Mechanic / Technician Skill Set Required

Key Responsibilities

- Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance of diesel engines.
- Diagnose faults in engine systems, fuel systems, turbochargers, cooling systems, and electrical components.
- Repair and overhaul diesel engines and related mechanical parts.
- Service equipment such as:
- Diesel generators (DG sets)
- Air compressors
- Excavators, JCB, loaders
- HDD machines
- Heavy trucks and site vehicles

- Replace defective parts such as injectors, pumps, filters, belts, bearings, etc.
- Conduct engine tuning and performance testing.
- Maintain service records and maintenance logs.
- Ensure proper lubrication and cleanliness of machinery.




- Follow safety procedures and use PPE at all times.
- Coordinate with site engineers for breakdown support.
- Maintain tools and workshop equipment in valuable condition.

Educational Qualification

- ITI / Diploma in Diesel Mechanic / Automobile / Mechanical Engineering.
- Relevant technical certification preferred.

Experience Required

- 2–5 years of experience in diesel engine maintenance.
- Experience in construction / oil & gas / pipeline / heavy equipment industry preferred.
