Water Supply Design Engineer plans, analyzes, and models municipal or industrial water systems, including pipelines, storage reservoirs, pump stations, and treatment plants, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient water delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesNetwork Design & Modeling: Create hydraulic models for transmission and distribution networks using tools like WaterGEMS, AutoCAD, or Civil 3D.Infrastructure Planning: Design intake wells, water treatment plants (WTP), clear water reservoirs, elevated service reservoirs (ESR), and pumping stations.Calculations & Documentation: Prepare hydraulic calculations, pipe sizing, Bill of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, and tender/bid documents.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with public health standards, environmental laws, and local municipal codes (such as CPHEEO or BIS guidelines).Project Coordination: Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, structural engineers,
