We are looking for a Welfare Officer to join manufacturing plant in Kochi. The candidate will be responsible for employee welfare, industrial relations, recruitment of factory workers, employee engagement, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage employee welfare and engagement activities.
- Handle employee grievances and support healthy employee relations.
- Coordinate with management and workmen/trade unions to resolve workplace issues.
- Recruit factory workers and executive trainees.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and support statutory audits.
- Monitor employee attendance and absenteeism, conduct counseling sessions,



and help reduce absenteeism.
- Issue attendance-related memos when required.
- Visit the shop floor regularly to interact with employees and supervisors and address concerns.
- Support HR activities such as Time Office, training, performance management, HRIS, and other HR initiatives.
- Coordinate with the canteen, security, and facilities teams to ensure employee welfare facilities are well maintained.
- Perform other HR-related duties assigned by management. Requirements:
- Good knowledge of Indian labor laws.
- Basic knowledge of plant HR practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Valuable communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
