About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant with 2–3 years of relevant experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring statutory compliance, preparing financial reports, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Record and maintain day-to-day financial transactions accurately.
- Prepare journal entries, vouchers, and ledger postings.
- Perform bank, vendor, and customer account reconciliations.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliance activities.
- Support month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
- Monitor expenses and ensure proper documentation of financial records.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for management.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance,



or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Hands-on experience with Tally ERP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic formulas).
- Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in the manufacturing industry (highly preferred).
- Exposure to trading or service industry accounting.
- Knowledge of audit processes and taxation.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

- Timely completion of month-end and year-end closing.
- Accuracy of accounting records and financial reports.
- On-time statutory and tax compliance filings.
- Efficient reconciliation and resolution of accounting discrepancies.
